Designed for marketing professionals already working in the field, this degree blends cutting-edge research and practice, giving you an understanding of strategic marketing constructs and focus your learning in specialist areas.

In this degree you will build an extensive toolkit of techniques and frameworks necessary for a capable, responsible, and effective marketing leader. You will also build on the skills you have gained throughout your career, and learn how to implement new strategies in your current role and senior roles moving forward.

You also also have the opportunity to undertake a corporate project or take part in our global study program..

In the Master of Applied Marketing you will be taught by award-winning academics, together with industry experts, and study the latest theories and research influencing the industry, including topics on advertising, company strategy, social media marketing and value creation.

If you are currently working, the flexible study structure will allow you to remain in your role as you expand your formal education, and elective units allow various specialisations. Classes are available during the day and evening, and some units are also available online or in block mode.

In addition, all of the core units can be studied online.

Entry Requirements

Qualifications

An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline with a preferred Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60, or an equivalent GPA, and a minimum of three years employment experience.

OR

An Australian bachelor  honours degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline with a preferred Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 and a minimum of one year employment experience.

Applicants will be ranked based on relevant employment experience, their entire academic record and statement of purpose.

English entry requirements

English Program Requirements

You can meet English entry requirements if you have completed an English subject in your prior secondary studies that is equivalent to an Australian Year 12 level (score requirements also apply). Acceptable English subjects for international qualifications are detailed in the prerequisite subject requirements section below. Other English subjects may be accepted and are assessed on a case by case basis.
