About Clinical Embryology

The Intensive Master of Clinical Embryology is internationally renowned as a training program for all assisted reproductive technologies (ART), producing high calibre embryologists. On completion of this course, you will have developed the specialised knowledge and practical skills needed to work in, and manage, human ART clinics.

The course is offered both on-campus (one year full time) and off-campus (restricted entry, full or part-time) to domestic and international students.

Entry Requirements

Qualifications

An Australian bachelor honours degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline in science or biomedicine - second class or above

OR

An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline in medicine or veterinary science with WAM over 60%

OR

An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) with at least pass (50%) average and a minimum of one year of full-time equivalent relevant professional experience in embryology or reproductive biology

OR

An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) and a Graduate Diploma in Reproductive Science from Monash University (or equivalent qualification from another institution approved by the faculty) with at least distinction (70%) average.

English Program Requirements

You can meet English entry requirements if you have completed an English subject in your prior secondary studies that is equivalent to an Australian Year 12 level (score requirements also apply). Acceptable English subjects for international qualifications are detailed in the prerequisite subject requirements section below. Other English subjects may be accepted and are assessed on a case by case basis.
