About Master of Science

Our Master of Science degree can be taken in a number of majors: Public Health Nutrition, Food Science, Greenhouse Horticulture or Agriculture. This program builds on your professional experience and/or prior degrees to develop advanced expertise and critical understanding in science and in these disciplines.

Depending on the major chosen, you may find employment at a senior level in a wide range of destinations, including federal, state and local government bodies, universities, research organisations, food and agriculture industries, private companies, health facilities, science-based industries, or private consultancies.

Successful completion of a recognised** Bachelor degree equivalent to an Australian degree

English Program Requirements

With many English testing centres currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Western Sydney University will temporarily extend the time validity for existing approved official IELTS or TOEFL IBT English test scores to 3 years instead of 2 years before the intended intake commencement for programs requiring IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.

Changes have also been made to our list of approved English tests. Western will temporarily accept the following alternative English tests for programs requiring IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
